88410 Cache Controller
This is the L2 cache controller for the 88110 CPU.
It controls the secondary cache between the CPU and main memory.
Up to two 88410 can reside on the processor bus of a single 88110, providing
up to 2MB of L2 cache.
Details
- supports up to 1MB direct-mapped cache
- 32 or 64-Byte line size
- write policy and cache coherency are identical to these from
the on-chip data cache
- everything in the CPUs L1 is also in the 88410s L2
